U-KISS Obsession and Random Music Reviews.

Hello all! I don't really have much to say on products or randomness, but I'm trying to keep the promise I made to myself and post something everyday. I wonder how long I'll last...

Lately I've fallen in love with U-KISS's music. Omg, I love them. I only have two of their songs (Tick Tack and Neverland), but just those two are epic.

For one, their music is so catchy and there's always something going on, but it's not overwhelming. That, my friends, is rare. Second, THEIR DANCING!!! OMG! I wish I could do that! They look like they're all connected in some way or another. So jealous...*sob*

This is kinda random, but who is your favorite member? I, personally, love Kiseop. His dancing is amazing and his hair is to die for, but if only he sang more in those two songs...

Here are the videos (in the order I mentioned before) and tell me what you think

Great, right? Before I get to my 'random music reviews,' my SOTD is....(Miss)Understood by Ayumi Hamasaki

Now that that's out of the way, I'm going to turn my ipod and review the 20 songs that pop up. They won't be super long reviews, just small ones.

1. Surreal - Ayumi Hamasaki

This is such a pretty song. The lyrics are so fast, but it still flows nicely along with the semi-intense music. It's at that weird place between techno, ballad, and rock. I personally like the first half of the song better than the second half. It kind of loses intenstity to me. The song just doesn't seem to flow right to me at the end. Oh, well. Still a great song.

2. Under My Skin (T.S.O.B. mix) - Sarah Connor

Um...I'm not gonna post the video for this one. It's way to sexual for me. I hate the lyrics to her version of the song. the only reason I have it is because when I found out that DBSK pretty much had to fight her for the rights to the song, I got curious (BTW, I'm not really sure what the problem was, that's just how I read the situation). The music video has pretty much left me scarred for life (I have an innocent mind) and I just couldn't make myself like her version. Kudos to whoever does like it, but not me. If you want to see the video, look it up. I'm not gonna put up a warning for a mature video for a song I don't like. Come to think of it, why haven't I deleted it...?

3. Mjesecina - Tose Proeski
Sadly, there is no official music video for this. It's such a pretty song and he had so much talent, may he rest in peace. The only thing I really know about this song is that the title means moon. The music is nice (I love the guitar part) and his voice is(was) amazing. I saw a tribute video a while ago of him singing this song (but with the studio audio) and he looked like he was having so much fun. He put so much into this song. It's truly beautiful.
4. U - Super Junior

This song is so cute and fun. The beginning of the video is kinda creepy, but I still love them. Not much more to say...but seriously, it's so cute! But watching this again after so long makes me think of how much they've changed...still love them though.
5. Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood
I love this video. It's so violent :). Normally, I'm not to big of a Carrie Underwood fan, but this song is just too amazing. Actually, this is probably the only song by her I can say that I love. It's got the traditional country sound and violent lyrics. Naturally, she has a gorgeous voice. I think this is the theme song to any woman with a cheating significant other :)

6. The First of Me
This isn't how the song sounds originally, but it's an awesome version of it. Keep in mind that singing live at those notes is not going to be easy, but I still say he did a pretty good job. There's so much meaning to this song, which is a major plus. The music builds in intensity along with the vocals and it's put together so well, it's just amazing.
7. Love Girl (acoustic ver.) - C.N. Blue
I love this song so much, but I hate the first 10 seconds. Why?...It's my alarm for the morning. But, seriously, their music is so unique and they have so much fun. I'm too lazy to go into real depth, but the music is amazing, the vocals are amazing, and they're amazing. Enough said.

8. Still Doll - Kanon Wakeshima
Kanon's music is so unique and dark, yet so adorable. I love the meaning behind the lyrics and the dark music. Having a young, cute voice just adds to the angsty sound of the song. So beautiful.

9. Keep It Real - One Ok Rock
First off, this video is so cute! It looks like they're trying to be gangsta even during the chorus when there's no rapping. Haha I love it. It's hard to believe the singer was a part of the jpop group NewS. o.O Their music is just so cool (even if I find the music video hilarious).

10. This Love - Angela Aki

Some of you may recognize this as the third ending to the anime, Blood+. To me, this is the perfect lullaby. Her voice is so powerful and pretty. Her high notes are die for and she is just overall amazing. Seriously, the only way I can describe this is to call it a lullaby. The song speaks for itself.
11. I'm a Loner - C.N. Blue

This was the first song I ever heard by C.N. Blue. It's so amazing. The music and vocals are so fun and unique. Out of all the Korean music I've heard, this band has the most unique sound to me. I can't completely break it down because I am just so biased.
12. Think of You Later - Every Avenue
This is a pretty old song that I don't listen to very often. The lyrics are nice and so is the music. It's a pretty upbeat song. It doesn't really jump out at me with how amazing it is, so to me, meh.

13. Via Dolorosa - Abingdon Boys School
First of all, Takanori Nishikawa must be a busy man. With Abingdon Boys School and T.M.Revolution, damn. His voice is so unique and the music is just, wow... I can tell he's singing live, and he is definately comparable to Gackt in that sense. So amazing. But seriously, that man needs to slow down and chill a bit. lol.

14. Kaidoku Funou - Jinn
Ok, I'm gonna have to use letter grading for this one. Music: A - It's sounds so cool and intense, but not overdone. Vocals: D - Not for the sound of her voice (I love how she sounds) but because I can barely understand a word coming out of her mouth. She needs to finish the phrases. Overall Song:...C+ - They'd get a B, but the vocals killed the score for me. I can understand some of it, but it mostly sounds like she's saying "aaaahhhhhh" for a lot of it, even though she isn't.

15. Tell Me Goodbye - Big Bang
This is such a good song. The music is both soft and has a good beat which complements the vocals. Their voices are just so good. I love them. Other than that, I don't know what else to say...am I lazy...?
16. Bad Girl - SNSD
This song (and video) is awesome. They are all so talented. I love the general theme of the video/song. Yeah, this is the shortest review yet. I'm getting sick of typing.
17. Ame no Furanai Hoshi de wa Aisenai Darou - Morning Musume
You have no idea how hard it was to find a video of this song that WASN'T a cover. Seriously. This is probably my favorite song by them. It's so calm and peaceful. Linlin and Junjun's parts are my favorite because they didn't get very many solos before they graduated, which is sad, because they are so talented. There is also a chinese version which is also very pretty.

18. I'll Be Back - 2PM
This video definitely deserves recognition. First thought: "Uh...are they going nuts?" Second: "That is WAY too much makeup." Third: "What the heck is on that boy's face???" Fourth: "Everyday I'm Shufflin'" lol. That was just too funny. I love the song, but I think I love the video more.
19. The Way U Are - DBSK
This is a really old song (to me), but it's still one of my favorites. The music is upbeat and perfect for dancing, I love Hero's hair, and the vocals are amazing. Did I mention Hero's hair? lol

20. Kimi to Iu Hana - Asian Kung-Fu Generation
This is the funniest performance that I've ever seen. Yes, they did amazing. Here are my thoughts. 1. (Singer starts the song and walks around) "OMG AIR! I NEED AIR! GAH!!!" 2. "You know what, I'm not playing guitar right now, so I think I'll just dance." Seriously, I love him. He's so expressive. Haha. But in all seriousness, this is such an amazing song and band. I REALLY want to learn how to play this on guitar.

Well, that's it for my random rambling. Check out the songs that I said were good. I really don't like the second one, but check it out if you want. I won't judge. Maybe I'll do more tomorrow...Tell me your thoughts.
